The Mid-Atlantic Ocean Conservation Symposium will be hosted Oct. 1-3 by the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean (MARCO) at Monmouth University’s Great Hall Auditorium in West Long Branch, New Jersey. The free and public event will feature interactive discussions, expert presentations and field tours exploring the state of ocean conservation in the Mid-Atlantic, including ongoing and planned marine biodiversity and habitat research. The symposium will also highlight initiatives aimed at advancing marine habitat conservation and stewardship and examine how they interact with and impact various stakeholder groups.
