Take the Mid-Atlantic Coastal Recreation Survey

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean (MARCO) is working closely with the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia to better understand how and where people in the region participate in recreational activities in the ocean and in coastal areas. Through MARCO, the five states are conducting an online survey of people who participate in ocean and coastal recreational activities.

The purpose of the survey is to understand what types of recreational activities people take part in throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and what concerns recreational ocean users may have about other current and possible uses of ocean and coastal resources. This information will be used to guide ocean and coastal management policies and programs throughout the region.

We want to hear from you! We invite you to take the survey by clicking on this link: Non-Consumptive Use Survey.  The survey only takes 15-20 minutes to complete and will close on September 5, 2017.  You may forward this email to friends and family who also participate in ocean and coastal recreational activities so they can take the survey as well.

We value your input and appreciate you taking the time to take the survey today!
